IGTAP Update History: Launch and Hotfix Timeline
IGTAP launched on September 21, 2026 and received its first hotfix a day later. Here is every dated change from the demo era to the endgame rebalance.

IGTAP launched on September 21, 2026 at $8.99 with a 10% discount. The first hotfix arrived the next day, and it changed more than bug fixes: it also made the endgame faster.
What the September 22 hotfix changed
The official notes list three items.
- Fixed a softlock that happened when returning to the unlock-orbs area while using omni-dash.
- Fixed a softlock caused by a box that was not translated properly in Russian. The developer adds an apology and a warning: it may not be retroactive.
- Adjusted the endgame balance to make it faster.
The third item matters most for anyone reading older reviews. Several launch-day complaints describe the late game as a grind, and that balance changed within a day.
Why the Russian fix may not help existing saves
The developer flagged that one as possibly non-retroactive. In plain terms, an update can stop the bug from happening again, but it cannot always repair a save that is already stuck inside it.
If you hit a translation-related freeze, check whether the fix applies to your progress before replaying from the start.
The full timeline

| February 20, 2026 | Free demo released on Steam and in the browser |
| June 2, 2026 | The notorious double-spike jump on course three was reduced to a single spike |
| June 5, 2026 | Demo extended with roughly 30 minutes of content, plus full localisation in nine languages |
| June 8, 2026 | Steam Next Fest participation announced for June 15 to 22 |
| June 16, 2026 | B-side hard mode released; finishing it unlocks level select |
| September 9, 2026 | Tokyo Game Show announcement, plus the news that demo saves would not transfer and the demo would be delisted |
| September 21, 2026 | Full release with 29 achievements, cloud saves and a 10% launch discount |
| September 22, 2026 | Hotfix one: two softlocks fixed, endgame rebalanced |
Along the way the developer also shortened the dash cooldown and changed dash physics to feel faster, which several older guides still describe in their pre-change form.
What is still unfixed
The launch version still has open reports. The Steam board carries a pinned bug thread, a thread about ambiguous wording, and recent posts about losing all progress and about secret upgrades possibly softlocking after completion.
There is also a steady stream of feedback about the omni-dash ability swap. That is a design choice rather than a bug, and the hotfix addressed only the softlock attached to it.
How to check whether a complaint still applies
- Compare the complaint date against September 22, 2026. Anything about endgame pacing written before that date is probably stale.
- Check the announcement feed for the newest entry. The build has no public version numbers, so dates are the only marker.
- Let Steam finish updating before you test. A queued update looks exactly like an unfixed bug.
- If your issue is a save loss rather than a softlock, treat it separately. No announcement has addressed that class of report yet.
